WELCOME TO MY WORKSHOP

I run a small blacksmiths workshop in Birkeland, a small village 30km. north of Kristiansand in southern Norway. I make all sorts of ironwork, from railings to penguins.

Blacksmithing is one of our oldest crafts. As well as maintaining the old traditions, my aim is to combine traditional techniques with modern design.

My joy in forging is creating new shapes in red hot iron.

As well as being a blacksmith I do drawing work, diving and archeology.
